About Us

ASTL of Jacksonville is a not for profit organization that was founded in 2010.  We are specifically focused on increasing knowledge associated with the Supply Chain Management/Logistics industry. Our objectives include but are not limited to the following:

  • Help local businesses sustain/grow via deployment of best in class techniques and educational portals within this arena
  • Assist individuals in gaining education related to the field so as to improve career objectives or to become gainfully employed
  • Work closely with the ASTL to create additional value added educational programs and/or enhance existing ones so as to maximize participants return on investment
  • Coordinate meaningful events that offer real time exposure of businesses that provide services/solutions or are heavily impacted by logistical activity, which allows them to market accordingly and provides an enthusiastic networking venue for participants
  • Create scholarships for participating/qualified members

The local chapter of ASTL meets quarterly for breakfast, lunch, or in the early evening and provides a forum for round table discussions on topics affecting the logistics industry. Key note speakers will often present information related specifically to their organization and/or the external market place. Participating in the local ASTL chapter is more important than ever. Improving your knowledge and understanding of the industry, working diligently to bring together educational resources, companies, and supply chain professionals to meet in an open forum to build a mature atmosphere where business can happen. We promote education through scholarships, seminars, meetings to inform and keep all members on the cutting edge.


The ASTL of Jacksonville Chapter’s mission is to embrace and communicate the importance of education and certification in the fields of transportation, logistics, and supply chain management in order to raise the professional standards in the industry.



To support our mission by promoting continuing education through ASTL and creating “best in class” networking opportunities and events through our strategic alliances within the local market.

2013 ASTL of Jacksonville and NE FL AHRMM Golf Tournament

Mission and goal: To raise awareness of the NE FL AHRMM chapter and ASTL of Jacksonville association; network with peers in the industry; raise funds in an effort to assist local educational organizations in their efforts to improve the skill sets of members, as well as partnering and supporting other organizations in their efforts to prepare Jacksonville for future Transportation and Logistics opportunities.

How much does it cost to join annually?
Local membership currently cost $30.00 annually. Please click below to join the Local Chapter.

How often do you meet?
General meetings are currently held quarterly. We will also be providing other events throughout the year (i.e., tours of local businesses, golf tournaments, bunko, poker, holiday socials, etc.).

Do I have to be a member of The AST&L before I can participate in local chapter events/meetings?
No. You can participate in the local meetings/events. However, the cost to do so will be slightly higher, approximately 15% more.
