Work on supply chain management such as commodity landscape, and manufacturing processes, including costs. Identify, develop, and manage existing and new suppliers including optimized supply chains. Generate benchmarking, market analysis, cost analysis, negotiation strategies, and execution. Provide schedule, capacity, supply planning, and logistics management to meet Apple’s production demand. REQUIREMENTS: Master’s Degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, International Manufacturing, or related field.

Education/Experience must include:

1.Project management: cross functional execution of projects;

2.Supply Chain Management: inventory management, supply/demand planning, resource allocation, resource optimization;

3.Negotiation;

4.Simulation and cost modeling;

5.Analysis and troubleshooting of manufacturing processes: process optimization and module process mapping;

6.Operations management; and

We are seeking experienced, talented and highly motivated professors with a proven record of internationally recognized research and industry collaboration. Experience in obtaining research funds from government, state funding institutions, and industry sources would be helpful. Depending on the experience and academic record of the applicant, the position may be filled at a full professor or tenure track associate professor level.

Assistant Professor
Candidates should have or expect to complete a PhD by the time of the appointment in the designated field from a recognized and accredited university, be qualified for internationally competitive research and have gained some teaching experience.
