Are you our next Senior Raw Materials Specialist?

We are currently seeking a Senior Raw Materials Specialist for our FishHawk, Florida location. The Senior Raw Materials Specialist position will be responsible for Procurement of Nitrogen Enhancement Products for use in Mosaic’s P205 facilities.  Additionally, role will coordinate the inbound and outbound movements of ammonia at Tampa Ammonia Terminals and timing/availability of outbound movements at Louisiana/other load ports.  Forecasting, planning and analysis is vital to this position.

 

What will you do?

  • Coordination of vessels, terminals, railcars and inventories for effective movement of ammonia into and through Mosaic’s Tampa Terminal and plant consumption systems.  Coordinated, planned and executed movement of excess ammonia out of Mosaic’s Faustina facility above and beyond its captive requirements. Contract administration and compliance to offtake commitments with ammonia suppliers.  Same activities for Nitrogen enhancement materials and zinc.
  • Purchase and secure supply for the company’s Nitrogen Enhancement products for use at its various P2O5 facilities. Efficient procurement, security of supply and appropriate and efficient use of assets (vessels, terminals, railcars, etc.).Contract negotiation and administration.]
  • Organize, prepare and execute monthly and bi-monthly forecasting for sulphur and zinc supply by providers. Analyze and review resulting data to determine near term procurement needs and long term supply strategies for sulphur and zinc.
  • Coordination of railcars, trucks and inventories for effective movement of Zinc and UAN to Mosaic’s production/consumption?on? facilities.  Logistic coordination with plants and demand drivers to assure supply is in place when and where it is needed in our system.  Effective communication with contract suppliers to assure contract performance while taking supply, consumption and logistics constraints into consideration.
  • Provide, incorporate and participate in the planning, forecasting and execution process of ammonia and zinc movement needs of the corporation.
  • Serve as backup for Mosaic sulphur, ammonia and zinc procurement needs.

 

What do you need for this role?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Finance is required; Master’s degree in related field is preferred
  • 3-5 years’ experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Financial Analysis, Contract Management, and Procurement are required
  • 3-5 years’ experience in Microsoft Office Suite is a must
  • 5-8 years’ experience in SAP is preferred
